First  things first  though and it  should  be noted  that  from  Febuary  1012 Chris  will  be working with a  new  agent .  Having worked  with  Form  talent  for  nearly  eight years , changes  are afoot.  Jez Felwick ,  who  has been  brilliant over the years  has decided  to  persue  different  projects but will  continue to  be about  and  work  with  Chris  and his  new agency in  a  consultancy capacity . He will  be  off making  the worlds  most  delicous  meatballs so  he tells  me  so  look out  for them  at various festivals .
Chris  is  now joining  and  will  be  looked after by  Graeme Legg  at  the  Conway Van Gelder agency  ,  contactable  at  graeme@conwayvg.co.uk
It is  very  exciting  to  be  joining this  very  reputable and  established  company lots of  faces associated with them  ,  find out more  at :

By  far the  highlight  for  Chris  in 2011  was  the  chance  to  present a  'The Wonder of weeds '.  A BBC  programme  that  made up part  of the  Botany  season.  The subject  was fascinating  and  the  crew that Chris  got  to  work  with  were  in  Chris's  words  'simpy  the cream  of  their  game' . the proigramme  was  well recieved  and although Chris's  work  will continue  to  dominated  by his  work  with  gardening and  children opportunites  to  delve into  the inner workings  of plants will be  welcome.

Another highlight  of 2011 was  taking part  in  a  DIY SOS Children in need  special ,  with  Nick Knowles  and and DIY SOS gang . This  took  place up  in Norris  Green  at a  youth  centre  and  was a  truely awesome  effort .  Local  tradesmen  ,  the local  residents  , Nick  and  his  team including Chris  all  came  together to  revamp  the centre  ,  which all  happened  over  a  period of  10  days.

Crossing over  from 2011  to  2012  ,  the big  news is the publishing of the  long  awaited book. 'Grow  your  own for  kids' .  Published  under the  Royal  horticultural  society's banner and  with  the  backing of Blue  Peter  ,  this has been  a long journey  for  Chris .  He hopes  the  public  find the  book  to  be  a springboard to  get  their  kids  gardening or  to  further  those  that have alraedy begun . The  book  contains sound  horticultural  information as  well as  plenty  of projects  for both  adults , teachers and  kids  to  get  stuck  into. But don't  take  our  word  for it  go out and  buy it!

Moving  in  to  2012 proper , new  buisness ventures  are  afoot  and  Chris  has  hooked  up  with  Ben  and Camilla Heaton  to  become  the director of  horticulture with  www.vegetableseeds.net
Trading through the  internet  the company  offers the cheapest  seeds  at  retail , but  also  quality  as the are suplied  wholesale from  the reputable  Kings seeds .  The  costs are reduced by  simply  removing  excess packaging and  supplying growing instructions  seperatley and in  simple  format . A  section  of this  website  that  will  be linked  to  the vegetableseeds website ,  it will  contain  advise on all  the products  being traded .  A blog  (the long  awaited!)  and  Forum  will  also  be / are  a  live part of  the buisness ,  as well  as videos and an  ask  Chris  section .

For practical  gardening lesons  go  and  visit the Morrisons  lets  grow  website where  Chris  takes  you  through 22 gardening videos .  Plenty  of  information and  hopefully  they will  be used  to  get  children (and  adults )  gardening .  Check  it  out with  this  link.  www.morrisons.co.uk/letsgrow/video-library
